September.8.2010Uno, Dos...Latin Grammy Nominations
Saludos from L.A.! Alex is really feeling the love from the Academy and we are honoured to announce that he has been nominated for Best New Artist and for Best Male Pop Album (for "Alex Cuba") at the 2010 Latin Grammys. A big congratulations to all the nominees.
September.2.2010RADIO AND A LITTLE BIT MORE...
Alex has been busy doing some radio interviews in the U.S., the second part of CBC Radio's "Kitchen Scratch" airs this weekend and Alex has has been tapped to announce nominees at the Latin Grammy press conference in L.A. next week.
September.1.2010Back In The U.S.A.
Alex took off from Smithers at 9:55 a.m. this morning and arrives late tonight in Dallas, Texas. Tomorrow at Dallas' House of Blues marks the first date of his U.S. tour with acoustic/alt-Soul artist Justin Nozuka.

It has been a long, crazy and beautiful summer so far. We criss crossed the country a few times ending off in Vernon, B.C. last weekend.

We arrived safe and sound yesterday to Guelph, Ontario in the new Scion that Toyota lent us for a week. Nice ride. Guelph is about one hour west of Toronto.

Alex, Max and David are back in Vancouver for the first time since the Olympics. Leaving St. John's in the wee hours this morning they arrived in Vancity today and are gearing up to rock a number of appearances at the legendary Vancouver Folk Music Festival this weekend.

Some of the media that Alex did in New York last week is starting to come in including a solo performance of a new song "Tus Ojos Viajan Conmigo" which was captured by Terra.com.
