Alex, Max and David are back in Vancouver for the first time since the Olympics. Leaving St. John's in the wee hours this morning they arrived in Vancity today and are gearing up to rock a number of appearances at the legendary Vancouver Folk Music Festival this weekend.

10:00 a.m.  Stage 5 - Alex and the boys link up with Calexico for a workshop entitled "Inspiracion", no translation required. This vibey workshop will be hosted by Bahamas.

1:40 p.m.  Stage 1 - Alex teams up with the man who taught him how to play guitar and a few other things, his father, Valentin Puentes from Artemisa, Cuba. A rare opportunity to see the powerful musical connection that can only exist between "Father and Son". (a fitting name for this workshop)

7:00 p.m. Stage 5 - Alex and the boys perform a full, high energy set. Get ready Vancouver, this is gonna be fun.
